    • A: No. ER-DOX is an urgent care center. Our physicians are residency trained and board certified in emergency medicine providing treatment for common illnesses (colds, coughs, fevers, flu, asthma) and handling most injuries treated in the ER (broken bones, sprains, strains). Both Dr. Kessler and Dr. Flashner have been practicing emergency medicine for over 15 years (and continue to so in local Emergency Rooms)

    • A: Yes. We are in network with most insurance companies.

    • Q: DOES ER-DOX SEE PEOPLE WITH NO INSURANCE?
    • A: Absolutely. Visits start as low as $95.00.

    • Q: DOES ER-DOX BILL FOR SERVICES?
    • A: Yes. For those services covered by your insurance. For those without insurance, payment is due upon the visit.

    • Q: WHAT METHOD OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
    • A: We accept cash and credit cards.

    • Q: DOES ER-DOX ACCEPT NO-FAULT / WORKERS COMPENSATION?
    • A: Yes, we do. You must bring ALL PAPERWORK at time of visit.

    • Q: DOES ER-DOX TAKE MEDICAID?
    • A: No. We do not accept Medicaid.

    • A: Appointments are not necessary. Feel free to walk in during our hours.

    • A: Most patients are treated and released within 30 minutes

    • A: We see infants, children, adolescents and adults.

    • Q: DOES ER-DOX PROVIDE ROUTINE CHILDHOOD VACCINES?
    • A: No. We do not provide routine childhood vaccines.

    • Q: CAN ER-DOX BE YOUR PRIMARY DOCTOR?
    • A: NO. Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care is a specialty. We cannot be your primary care physician, however, if your physician is unavailable and you need immediate care or you have an urgent care matter that you were considering to go to the Emergency Room, ER-DOX is there for you!

    • Q: What is Pedia-Nyte?
    • A:In both locations we treat all ages. In our Massapequa office only, we have late night extended hours (9PM-11PM) for infants, children and adolescents only. Our hours to treat under 21 years old is 9am-11pm, 7 days a week. During this time, a pediatrician our a certified Emergency Room Physician will be available to meet your child's urgent medical needs.
